Swimming Pool Rules

Hours:  The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, unless otherwise altered by the Management Committee.  The hot tub, sauna and weight room are open year-round.  Pool hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Access:  Owners will be provided with a key to the facility.  The pool area must be locked at all times.  Owners shall not provide keys to any non-owners.  In the event an Owner has a duplicate key and makes it available to guests for their use, said Owner, when identified to the Association, will be responsible and liable for the cost of changing all locks and the issuance of new keys to all Owners.

ID Tags:  Owners and their guests will carry or wear ID tags when using the recreational facilities.  Guests shall be accompanied by the Owner or Resident at all times.  Tags will be distributed as follows:

* Owner tags:  At least two (2) tags per Unit, not to exceed the number of permanent   residents.  Cost: $.50 each.

*  Guest tags: four (4) per Unit.  Cost:  $1.00 each

Guests:  Except by prior arrangement with the Management Committee, the number of guests of any Owner at any given time shall not exceed four (4).

Tobacco, Food & Beverages:  No smoking or tobacco is permitted in the pool area.  Beverages and food will not be allowed within 10 feet of the pool and are only permitted on the finished cement areas around the pool.  Absolutely no food or drink will be allowed in the pool, and no breakable glass is permitted in the pool, whirlpool, sauna, and weight room areas.

No Lifeguard on Duty:  The swimming pool does not have lifeguards.  owners, Residents, and their guests use the facilities and swimming pool at their own risk.

Children:  For safety reasons, swimmers under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult Resident.  Children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult.  No children in diapers shall be allowed in the pool.  Unaccompanied children will be asked to leave the pool area.

Attire:  Swimming pool filtering systems are complex and expensive to maintain and repair.  Cut-offs tend to unravel and clog the filter systems, so swimming attire must be conventional swim suits.

Conduct:  Running, rough-housing, and excessive splashing are prohibited in the pool area.  Battery-operated radios may be  taken into the pool area so long as they are kept at a low volume and do not disturb other Residents.  (Earphones are preferred.)

Safety Equipment:  The pool is equipped with a life ring and a safety “hook”.  These are important pieces of safety equipment and should never be used or removed from the area except in an emergency.

Floating Items:  No large boats or rafts shall be allowed in the swimming pool area in order to prevent danger toothed swimmers.

Other Miscellaneous Pool Rules:  Any persons having any apparent skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cough, cold, nasal or ear discharges, or any communicable disease, shall not use the pool.

All individuals will take a shower before entering the pool and will provide their own towels.

Each Owner shall be responsible for any damage caused to the swimming pool or its facilities or equipment by the said Owner, his family, tenants or guests.

No pets of any kind are allowed in the pool area.

Sauna & Dressing Rooms:  The saunas and dressing rooms are located adjacent to the pool area.  Owners, Residents and their guests shall turn off the sauna when finished.  Children under the age of f14 using the sauna and dressing rooms must be supervised and accompanied by an adult.

Tennis Courts:  Tennis shoes ONLY must be worn on the tennis courts.  Black soled running shoes and street shoes are not permitted.

No food, alcoholic beverages, soda pop, etc. are allowed on the tennis courts.

No bicycles, skates, roller blades or skateboards are permitted on the tennis courts.

Play time is limited to one (1) hour when others are waiting to play.

Lounge chairs are not permitted on the court.

Owners & Residents who use the courts must clean up after themselves.

After use, Owners and Residents shall turn of the court lights and lock the gate no later than 10:00 PM.

Community Center & Weight/Exercise Room:  No one under the age of eighteen (18) may use the exercise equipment or the pool table unless accompanied by an adult Resident.

Users of the Weight Room must be wearing proper attire, including tennis shoes.

No food or drink is permitted in the Weight Room.

Users of the Community Center and Weight Room must respect the property and respect others by sharing the amenities.
